We hate spam as much as you do! We respect your privacy and will never share, trade, or sell any personal information at any time, for any reason. Your phone number and e-mail address are used strictly for the purpose of contacting you about your order, if required.
Caterpillar Baby is a secure site, and you can feel confident in using your credit card. All of your information is received through a secure server with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. We take a firm stance on credit card security, and have implemented a robust and highly secure e-commerce environment. We do not store any of your credit card information in our system, and all card transactions are processed securely through our payment processor.
You may order online, or you may also phone your order in if you are more comfortable dealing with us personally. Our number is 1-888-884-2880 (647-728-0952 if you are in the greater Toronto area).
Unless otherwise specified, all of our items are in-stock and ready to ship. For special order items, your entire order will ship once all backordered items have been received at our store. We can ship in-stock items earlier if requested, but this may incur an extra shipping charge.
Payments may be made by credit card, Interac Online, Interac E-Transfer, or PayPal. Please feel free to phone in your credit card information if you do not wish to enter your credit card information online.
Prices listed on the website are exclusive of taxes and shipping charges. All orders shipped to Canadian destinations are taxed according to the following provincial and federal taxation guidelines:
AB, BC, SK, MB, QC,YT, NU, NT: 5% GST on all items
NL, NB: 13% HST on all items
PE: 14% HST on all items
ON: 5% GST on cloth diapers, inserts, and covers, 13% HST on all other items
NS: 5% GST on cloth diapers, inserts, and covers, 15% HST on all other items
All orders are shipped from our home office in Toronto, ON. Orders are usually shipped within one to two business days, unless otherwise specified. Please note that there is no time delivery guarantee with Lettermail shipping, and it could take up to 2-3 weeks to receive your item, possibly longer during the holiday season.
We offer free shipping via Canada Post Expedited to Canadian and Continental US addresses on orders of $75 or more before taxes, and flat-rate shipping of $5.99 plus any applicable taxes for orders under $75. We also offer Lettermail shipping options for small, low-cost items. Shipments to the US are shipped via USPS.
Shipments of excessive weight or shipments to remote areas may, on rare occasion, incur extra shipping charges. If your order falls into this category, we will inform you of the extra charges prior to shipping.
Orders shipped via Expedited Parcel are fully insured. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments sent via Lettermail.
We ship the majority of our orders via Canada Post. For very large orders which span multiple boxes, we will ship via UPS or Fedex.
We use a freight forwarder that eliminates the lengthy wait at the border, so your packages will get to you faster! Orders shipped to U.S. addresses will be shipped by USPS via the most economical method (usually First Class Mail or via Flat Rate options). You will be responsible for any taxes or duties that may be charged by US Customs. Please note that we are unable to ship bumGenius, Flip, GroVia, Funky Fluff and Tula (except discontinued prints) products outside of Canada.
We do ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch prior to placing your order, and we will inform you of the shipping charges based on what you are hoping to purchase.
Whenever possible, we try to use either recycled or recyclable materials for packaging, or shipping materials from shipments that we have received from our suppliers. All of our boxes and envelopes are recyclable. The resealable bags we use to ship via Lettermail are 100% biodegradable.
We do not ship a copy of your invoice with your order. If you require a paper copy of your invoice and do not have access to a printer, please let us know and we will include an invoice with your package.
We are strong believers in the "reduce" component of the 3R's. We may occasionally add a product sample into your order, but avoid unnecessary promotional items (business cards, postcards, magnets, etc.). We strongly believe that the best type of promotion is word of mouth!
We offer free local pick-up from our home office near the Jane subway station in Toronto, Ontario. Once we receive your order, we will get in touch with you in order to arrange for a mutually convenient time to pick up your items.
