RLR, when added to a hot wash WITHOUT detergent, removes all the residue trapped within the fabric and suspends it in the water. These particles are then washed away in the rinse cycle. It's not necessary to use RLR during every washing, but when problems such as reduced absorbency or odor crop up. RLR can also be used monthly to prevent residue build-up.
